the guidelines from www.fto.nsw.gov.au
As of October 2001.... The
Regional Filming Fund (RFF) has approved seven productions since it
commenced in January this year. The Fund was conceived in recognition
of the benefits that film production contributes when filming in a
regional area.
The fund is open to Australia feature films, documentaries, television
series, serials, mini-series and telemovies. Television and documentary
productions must have a network presale and feature films must have
a distribution guarantee and have secured the balance of their budget.
To be eligible for the RFF, productions must shoot in a regional location
for at least one week. The amount of funding allocated is determined
by the contribution the production will make to the regional area.
The guidelines have recently been updated and are available on the
FTO Website, www.fto.nsw.gov.au
